These are resources for both job seekers and arts employers who want to publicize job openings. Most are free, and those that charge are noted. Americans for the Arts Job Bank is the most comprehensive with links to numerous other state, national, and international arts job banks and listings.

Chief Philanthropy Officer - Winston-Salem Symphony
The WSS seeks an inspiring, collaborative and strategic leader to become its next Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO). The successful candidate will be committed to the Symphony’s mission and will serve as the leader of its philanthropy team.

Resource Coordinator - Winston-Salem Symphony
The Resource Coordinator supports the Philanthropy Department with donor and other philanthropy administration functions and the Education Department with project management for the Winston-Salem Symphony’s (WSS) volunteer program.  The Resource Coordinator works closely with members of the Philanthropy and Education Departments, volunteers, patrons, and community partners.

Graphic Design and Art Appreciation/History Instructor - Rowan-Cabarrus Community College
Instructor will work within the Department of Fine & Applied Arts to teach any/all Graphic Design courses as needed with the AAS degree program (Advertising and Graphic Design). Additionally the instructor must be fully able to teach Art Appreciation, Art History Survey I, and/or Art History Survey II as needed.

2-Dimensional Art Studio Generalist Instructor- Rowan-Cabarrus Community College
Instructor will work within the Department of Fine & Applied Arts to teach any/all 2-Dimension studio courses as needed. Courses may include, but are not limited to, Two-Dimensional Design, Drawing I&II, Painting I&II, Figure Drawing I&II. Instructor must be well-versed in oil painting techniques.

Jobs openings are listed for all agencies within the Department of Cultural Resources, including the N.C. Museum of Art, N.C. Symphony, and the N.C. Arts Council.

National Resources

Americans for the Arts Job Bank
A free service for both job seekers and arts employers. Job seekers can post their resumes and use the searchable database of nonprofit and for-profit arts management positions at organizations across the United States. Employers can use the searchable database of online resumes to find qualified professional candidates or post a job opening. The site also includes links to career development resources and other job banks.

Art Job
This is a fee-based service for job seekers and arts employers. It publicizes professional opportunities and career information in all areas of the arts, including: visual arts, arts nonprofits, performing arts, commercial art and design firms, film, public arts agencies, academic arts positions, galleries, internships, fellowships, conferences, and commissions.

Job seekers can access listings for free and arts organizations are charged a moderate fee to post a job opening or artist opportunity.
