North Carolina Executive Directors' Conference

January 20-22, 2016
Camp Caraway Conference Center
Asheboro, N.C.

The North Carolina Arts Council will present a two-day professional development conference for local arts council executive directors on Wednesday, Jan.  20— Friday, Jan. 22, 2016. Join colleagues from across the state to explore strategies to strengthen North Carolina’s Creative State brand through the local arts council network. Conference sessions will feature speakers and panels on engaging diverse audiences and creative placemaking. The retreat will also provide time for peer connections and relaxation in an informal setting.

The conference will take place at Camp Caraway, a retreat center located in Asheboro. Located in the center of the state, Asheboro is home the Randolph Arts Guild and the North Carolina Zoo, our partners for the conference. Camp Caraway offers single or double rooms in a serene, wooded setting with hiking trails.
