Arts News

The arts Make North Carolina an extraordinary place to live, work, explore. The North Carolina Arts Council’s investment in the arts reaches all 100 counties through our support of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations across the state. Our work benefits communities through quality of life, economic developmentarts tourism, and providing a more balanced education for our children.

We offer a variety of ways to stay connected to the arts industry in North Carolina. Click here to visit current and archived press releases. If you need related photography or videos please contact Rebecca.Moore@ncdcr.gov or (919) 807-6530. Our offices also arrange press visits for journalists interested in arts and cultural stories.

To make it easier for you to find out about arts and cultural experiences make www.NCArtsEveryday.org your first stop in planning arts and authentic North Carolina experiences.

You can also sign up for our monthly arts industry news, ArtMatters or Artful Living, our quarterly e-news about ways to explore and experience Creative North Carolina.

If you are an artist we publish a twice-a-month list of Artists Opportunities, one of our most popular resources.

If you need other resources or assistance please contact Rebecca.Moore@ncdcr.gov.
