Watch highlights from the 2007 conference. Arts learning, both in and out of the classroom, plays a critical role in preparing North Carolina’s school-age children for the future. The North Carolina Arts Council and the state’s arts industry have long recognized the importance for all children to have access to arts learning. Arts Council grants support arts programming for thousands of students across the state each year—enhancing student learning by putting artists in the classroom and in after school programs.
