Piedmont Triad, N.C. – The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority (PTAA) is now opening the 2025 search for artists with a call for two-dimensional paintings, photographs, mixed media, small three-dimensional sculptures, and large outdoor sculptures. This request is open to all artists in the State of North Carolina and southern Virginia Counties who border the Piedmont Triad. The artwork will be on loan to the PTAA for one year. Each 2D and small 3D Artists will be paid an honorarium of $100 for the loan of their artwork. Sculptors will be paid $2,000 to include delivery and pick up. The work will be insured by PTAA while exhibited at the PTI Airport. Your name and contact
information will be on each label so that the public can call to inquire about your work, and you may trade out a work that is sold for another similar work.

$2000 for outdoor sculpture and $100 per 2D or 3D work

Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the third Green online art contest for the month of April 2025. Contest is open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. Please submit any work depicting the color green or shades of green as a prominent color. All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. The City of Durham’s Cultural & Public Art Program is seeking an artist or artist team with experience in creating site-specific, 3D artwork to design and install public art in the main lobby at City Hall, located at 101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC 27701. The goal of this public art project is to create a hanging installation for the main entryway of City Hall, with a strong preference for materials that help dampen sound and reduce echo e.g. recycled materials, textiles, foam, wood, cork, etc.

You may be eligible for a one-time Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant of up to $3,000. Cycle 17 will be open January 14 - February 11 for essential expenses including rent, utilities, medicine/healthcare, and food.
