    Jobs openings are listed for all agencies within the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, including the N.C. Arts Council.

  • Americans for the Arts
    A service for both job seekers and arts employers. Job seekers can post their resumes and use the searchable database of nonprofit and for-profit arts management positions at organizations across the United States. For a moderate fee, employers can post a job opening and use the searchable database of online resumes to find qualified professional candidates.
  • New York Foundation for the Arts
    Job seekers can access listings for free and arts organizations are charged a moderate fee to post a job opening or artist opportunity.

Public Art City of Durham Cultural & Public Art Program

The City of Durham’s Cultural & Public Art Program is seeking an artist or artist team with experience in creating site-specific, 3D artwork to design and install public art in the main lobby at City Hall, located at 101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC 27701. The goal of this public art project is to create a hanging installation for the main entryway of City Hall, with a strong preference for materials that help dampen sound and reduce echo e.g. recycled materials, textiles, foam, wood, cork, etc.

Grants & Fellowships Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant

Are you a dancer anywhere in the US in dire financial emergency? Have you recently lost engagements, or been ill or injured? You may be eligible for a one-time Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant of up to $3,000. Cycle 17 will be open January 14 - February 11 for essential expenses including rent, utilities, medicine/healthcare, and food. This national program is administered by New York Foundation for the Arts and funded by Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. Privacy is guaranteed. Cycle 18 will be open March 18 - April 15, 2025.

Public Art Yadkin Arts Council

The Yadkinville Public Art Committee in partnership with the Yadkin Arts Council are seeking artists and artist teams to submit proposals for the installation of a permanent outdoor mural in downtown Yadkinville. Funding for this mural is being provided through a grant from the Town of Yadkinville and the Yadkinville Tourism Development Authority. This will be the first mural of an ongoing downtown mural project – the deadline outlined above is for the first selected mural but the possibility of additional murals being selected will be considered as more funding is obtained.
